A unix like "top" within IOS-XE

Here we look at  the show proc cpu monitor command. This is an improvement over the straight show proc cpu, in that it allows for the realtime monitoring,  of the top process IDs

By execution of the "show proc cpu monitor" you will now witness the top  PIDs.



The default interval is 5secs, but  you can specify an interval from 5 - 3600 secs.


The use of this command is helpful when debugging high cpu-usage or for the monitor of PIDs that have high utilization or run times.
